Columns

Dresser manufacture a range of hollow timber columns for interior and exterior use. The columns range from 200mm to 762mm in diameter. The columns are produced in a number of woods and also MDF for paint finishes. They can be used for decorative effect or to disguise structural steel work, electrical and pipe conduits.
A whole range of curved cornices, curved skirtings and carved capitals are available. A selection of these are shown on the following pages.

The image far left shows an illustration of a 305mm diameter column with a fluted effect lower section, a plain upper part and a cornice in timber moulding pattern DM48
The three columns shown together illustrate complete MDF units finished in a marble effect. They have footbases and dentil cornices as options.
The central part of this image shows the hollow structure of the columns along with a unit split along its length. The split form of the columns can be used to wrap around existing steelwork
The bottom section of this image shows a footbase onto which a column can be fitted
